Beginning with two Packaging Enterprises in Kent Town and Oakden that empowered people with disabilities in employment. Our small team continually worked to grow the skills and capabilities of our employees, performing as the forefront of early modern inclusive employment practices in South Australia.
Early iterations of Finding Workable Solutions (FWS) empowered people with disability to branch out from sheltered supported employment options and find employment opportunities as valuable members of the wider Australian workforce.
Under FWS, many of the Enterprises you know today opened their doors, including; Salvage & Save, In-Stitches and Firewood & Gardens. Empowering people with disabilities in employment and empowering local communities with various service offerings. Over time, FWS and Hands On SA realised that their capabilities to empower people with disabilities would be stronger if they merged together.
Following a merge of HoSA and FWS, Mobo Group was formed! All Enterprises and Employment Services came together under one name, with the steadfast purpose of enabling people with disability to be the best they could be.
We freshened up our brand and direction, so we can better empower people with disability and supporting our communities with greater expert knowledge, more opportunities, and better support than ever before.
